During National Nurses Month, Fire Department Coffee has partnered with the ANA to support the 4.2 million nurses in the US in an effort to help #EndNurseAbuse. The campaign focuses on raising awareness of this important issue of violence and harassment of nurses in the workplace. The goal is to help support the reporting of this form of violence against nurses and encouraging a zero-tolerance policy in the workplace. “Every nurse deserves to feel safe and protected in the workplace.”

Through ANA’s work on #EndNurseAbuse, the U.S. House passed the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act (H.R. 1195) on April 16.
