    Nurses Week and Nurses Day celebrations will begin taking place in early May. In the U.S. Nurses Week is May 6-12 and National Nurses Day is May 6. International Nurses Day is May 12, the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale. Nurses Trusted to Care is the American Nurses Association official theme for Nurses Week 2011.
